Jenna Henderson Studio Space
Did you know I have a studio? About two years ago, I was lucky enough to find this quaint little space to share with a couple of other photographers. It isn't very big, but it's just right for intimate, sweet portrait sessions. My clients love coming to the studio, because it's super convenient for professional portrait sessions. It doesn't matter what the weather is, hot, cold, rainy, or otherwise. Our shoot can continue as scheduled without interruption from inclement weather. Plus, there is plenty of space to change clothes and make yourself at home. And we always keep snacks and water on hand, in case we all get a little hungry and need a break.
Natural light portrait studio
The thing I love about my studio the most is that there is plenty of natural light to create some beautiful portraits. A huge window in the front of my studio that faces north let's even light come in all day long. Despite being small, it is incredibly versatile. The large window gives me lots of light and shadows to play with to create something beautiful for you. I also have a handful of simple, timeless furniture pieces on which we can sit.
What to wear for your studio session
Because my studio is very neutral, it is a perfect blank slate. This means that you can really wear anything! Of course, I always suggest my clients choose things that are as timeless and classic as possible, so photos don't look dated as the years go on due to your clothing. For some inspiration, take a look at this sweet, simple maternity session I did with Tiffany just a few days before she welcomes her third baby. She had two outfits, a striped fitted dress, and a lacy top. Both were just right, equal parts chic and timeless.
