Creating an album
If you’re anything like me, you have a gazillion photos of your kids, and probably some really wonderful images taken by professional photographers. Because I’m passionate about prints, I always make the time to sit down and sort through those gazillion photos and print them. This means setting aside time in my busy schedule to sort through the photos to pick out the best and then researching the right album company. Then, I have to format the images to that company’s specifications, or download bulky software, or design the album on some super slow website interface. And y’all, I’m here to tell you: it’s a pain in the ass. And I’m a professional!
Save time, hire a professional
It takes me hours to do the sorting, but it takes me just as long sometimes to source the best place to print my photos, the best albums to have, the best way to design the albums, and compare all the massive options available. But here’s the good news for you: I’ve already done it… I’ve put in the hours to source the highest quality items available on the market, so you don’t have to.
Fine art album
One of my favorite items out there is this simple leather bound Fine Art album. The design is very sleek and timeless, and the way a story is told throughout the album is a great way to keep family memories. These albums can hold several photographs and make an instant heirloom for your family. The outside bound with artisan leathers and personalized with imprinting, which makes the whole thing feel so rich and high-end in my hands. Every time I get a shipment from this supplier, I’m blown away at the quality of their work.
Baby’s First Year Album
These fine art albums are most often selected as part of the Baby’s First Year package; rather than just having one session, the albums will have images from several milestone sessions over the course of your baby’s first year, telling the story of their first year of life. Best of all, they make excellent gifts (because I promise you, your parents already have everything else).
If you’re planning a family session soon, let me know and I’ll be glad to bring a few samples of these with me for you to take a look for yourself! Don’t have your family session planned yet? Contact me now to learn more.
